The Christmas Spirit is alive and well in the Clearwater community. The Toys for Tots drive sponsored by the Clearwater Legion Riders raised $2569.66 and eight full boxes of toys. Special thanks to both Clear Lake and Clearwater Fire Departments for being there to collect donations. Locations included Clearwater Corners, Clearwater American Legion, Nelson Bros. Ariana Newman (left) and Maudie Butler decorated Holiday cookies during the Christmas Party Saturday. They also had a chance to make holiday decorations, Christmas cards and do other crafts.
Evan Collins and his mom, Cassie had a chance to meet Santa and get some treats Saturday during the Children's Christmas Party at the Clearwater Legion.
Chase Bell, Wyatt Heinen and Elizabeth Heinen wave to Santa who was riding on a Clearwater Fire Dept. truck Sunday evening on Main Street. All the kids received treats, and the fire department collected food shelf items for the community.
