(The following information was submitted to the Patriot by the Minnesota State Patrol).

A man from Rush City was killed Tuesday morning when the semi truck he was driving left the road in Stearns County.

Randal Lee Miller, 60 of Rush City was east bound on I-94 when his truck went off the road to the left of the overpass for Jade Rd. The 2003 Freightliner semi went into the median, landed on Jade Road and came to a rest under the I-94 bridge in St. Joseph township.

The road conditions were deemed dry however, Miller was unbelted and unrestrained in the vehicle.

Responding personnel included the Stearns County Sheriff’s Dept., the St Joseph Police and Mayo Ambulance.
