Rivers Of Hope Hosts 30th Anniversary Gala Oct. 12

The 2019 Rivers of Hope “Rock Star” Gala will be held on October 12, 2019 at the Monticello Community Center.  This event helps to support Rivers of Hope in providing services to survivors of domestic violence, including individual advocacy in the court system, safety planning, and important referrals related to housing, mental health, and economic resources.

So far this year, Rivers of Hope provided individual advocacy and resources to over 300 individuals.  In addition, last school year, over 900 students received education around healthy relationships and recognizing domestic violence warning signs.  They ask for your support with the Gala through sponsorship or donations for their live & silent auctions. By contributing to the Gala, you will be part of the Rivers of Hope mission to end domestic abuse and teen dating violence.

Cost is $50 per person.

Rivers of Hope is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), organization that was founded in the summer of 1989 by a small group of citizens who were concerned about domestic violence in their local community.  By the mid-1990s, Rivers of Hope expanded from Sherburne County into Wright County and has grown to its current status as primary provider of adult community advocacy and support services for victims of domestic violence.  Rivers of Hope offers general and legal advocacy, education, support group, information, and referrals. In 1991, a youth program was added along with a criminal justice intervention program.
