KJs Refuge in Orrock Twp. held an Easter event April 10 in which the Easter Bunny made an appearance for all the guests. The event was hosted by the Elk River Lions.

Over 356 children from all over the area came to see the giant white rabbit in the yellow bow tie. Many had their photo taken with the bunny and others enjoyed crafts and coloring pages in the craft area. There was a bunny walk and lots of games as well as a huge Easter basket filled with 1,200 eggs!

KJ’s held a bike drawing at 2 p.m. and donated food items were gathered and collected to be given to the Big Lake Community Food Shelf.
