Motorists and Becker area residents who use Hwy. 10 may attend an open house to learn about an upcoming project that will reconfigure the existing Hwy 10/Co Rd 23 intersection in Becker.

 

The safety improvement and resurfacing project is scheduled for construction in 2018.

 

The open house will be held Thurs., Aug 18, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 at the Becker Community Center, 11500 Sherburne Avenue.

 

Those attending the open house will learn about the project, Reduced Conflict Intersections, why the RCI design was chosen for this location, learn about tentative construction and traffic plans, view the latest design layout and take home project information. MnDOT staff will be available to answer questions about the new intersection’s safety improvements, how to navigate a Reduced Conflict Intersection and any other questions about the project.
