Author William Kent Krueger will read from and discuss his latest book “Windigo Island” (2014), and his famous coming-of-age novel “Ordinary Grace” (2013), when he visits the Becker Public Library on Monday, Nov. 16 beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Krueger has won four MN Book Awards, two Anthony Awards for Best Novel and an Edgar Award. His latest novel is part of a series of mystery stories set in the north woods that involve the character “Cork O’Connor”.
Krueger was born November 16, 1950 in Torrington, WY, making his Becker visit a birthday surprise for library patrons. Though a long-time resident of St. Paul, Krueger’s biography states that some of his best years were spent in Hood River, OR, the place he still calls home.
