A one-vehicle motorcycle accident  in Livonia Twp. Aug. 24 killed the driver and sent the passenger to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Timothy Francis Pittman, 42 of Princeton died when the 2007 Harley FLHX motorcycle he was driving went into median and crashed on southbound Hwy. 169 and mile marker 165 in Livonia Twp. His passenger, 39-year-old Jennifer Marie Anderson of Circle Pines survived the crash and was transported to Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids.

Pittman was not wearing a helmet in the accident that occured at around 6:43 p.m.

Assisting at the scene were Elk River fire and police departments as well as St. Cloud Sheriff’s Office and Alina Ambulance.
