Each year in May, law enforcement officers are recognized for their contributions throughout the nation. Every day, officers put on their uniforms, not knowing what the day will hold. These officers have answered a call to public service that is demanding and often unappreciated.

 A group of residents in Pebble Creek Townhome Association in Becker have decided to show their appreciation for law enforcement and first responders during the month of May by displaying blue and white lights on their townhomes as a way of honoring law enforcement and first responders. The lights come on automatically at dark each day. Resident of Pebble Creek Townhomes Jenny Bjorlin shared these sentiments: “We are so thankful for our police officers and first responders and all they do to make our community more amazing.’
