Many area schools are hosting traditional fall open house programs next week, while others are adopting a new format involving individual assessment/conference days before the first day of school.
Open House Schedules
Clearview Elementary School in Clear Lake will host an open house Tue., Aug. 26 from 4:40 to 6 p.m. Students and parents will tour classrooms, meet teachers and other school staff, and take care of lunch accounts and other housekeeping details, and have the chance to sign up for after-school and other extra-curricular programs.
Becker Middle School will host its annual open house on Wed., Aug. 27 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., with a seventh-grade parent presentation taking place from 4:45 to 5:15 p.m. at the school.
Becker High School will also be hosting its open house Wed., Aug. 27, from 5 to 7 p.m. A meeting for incoming freshmen and their parents will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the school auditorium.
The Becker Primary School and the Intermediate School will be holding assessment/conference days Tue., Sept, 2 and Wed., Sept. 3. The first day of school for grades K-5 will be Thursday, Sept. 4.
