A Zimmerman man died and a mother and her daughter were injured Oct. 30 when two vehicles collided head-on in Baldwin Township, according to Sheriff Joel Brott.

The crash happened at about 9:15 p.m. in the 11800 block of Sherburne Co. Rd. 2, Brott said.

A vehicle being driven by Devin L. Vannurden, 37, was traveling west on Co. Rd. 2 when it crossed the center line and collided with an SUV traveling east. The driver of the SUV, a 34-year-old woman from Princeton, and her 13-year-old daughter were taken to hospitals with serious injuries.

They are expected to survive, Brott said.
