The Becker girls track team took the top spot last week at the Princeton Triangular meet, winning with 127.8 points, while Zimmerman and Princeton came in second and third, respectively.
The Bulldogs had a flurry of first place finishers, winning 11 total events, and notching a number of personal records (PR).
In the sprints, Becker took first in the 200 meters (Josie Reckelberg in 28.15), while Kaylyn Rickard was third (29.99), Sylvia Stoeckel fourth (30.03), and Abby Atwood fifth (30.37). Alayna Allen was second in the 100 meters, while Reckelberg claimed fourth.
In the distance races, Sydnee Bull claimed a PR and the top place in the 1600 in 5:54.16, while Laney Hodel also had a PR to finish fourth.
In the 3200 meters, first place went to Savannah Cunningham with a time of 12:44.66 (PR).
Becker swept the top four places in the 400: Andie Changamire 62.04, Katelyn Brower 65.31, Rickard 65.57, Sylvia Stoeckel 69.07.
Adele Changamire won the 800, while Hodel was third.
The Bulldogs continue to be dominant in the hurdles, as Kailey Thompson won both races, the 100 and 300 hurdles, while Raelee Lyon was runner-up in the 100 and Kali Schendzielos was runner-up in the 300 hurdles and Khloe Thom was fourth in that 300.
Becker won two of the four relay races, taking first in both the 4x200 (Abby Atwood, Alyssa Kinney, Kali Schendzielos, Kaylyn Rickard) and the 4x400 (Atwood, Adele Changamire, Katelyn Brower, Andie Changamire).
Katelyn Brower, Cunningham, Bull, and Alyssa Brower teamed up to take second in the 4x800, while finishing third was the 4x100 (Reckelberg, Leon Morris, Lyon and Allen)
For the field events, Allen won the long jump with a leap of 16’10”, while Ella Tschida won the shot put with a distance of 33’7”. Tschida added a second in the discus, while Bella Kuschel was third in the high jump.
The triple jump saw three Bulldog place winners: Reckelberg (second), Alyssa Kinney (fourth) and Sophia Otto (fifth).
