The Becker Township Board held their monthly meeting, April 21. 

There were updates from the planning commission and joint planning board. There was an easy boundary adjustment subdivision, with 40 acres changing hands. 

There were a couple ordinance amendments, one that allows a lay down yard in general rural and agriculture districts that is associated with the application for interim use permits. 

There were also soon to be updated ordinance amendments referencing cannabis and occasional special events. 

The engineers report was minimal besides the contracts that were approved last meeting. 

Some talk ocurred about weight restrictions on roads and moving the bit system online, but nothing was confirmed. 

The speed study on Co. Rd. 23 was discussed. The problem is having the speed study may bring the speed up, but lowering the speed is also impossible without the study. The board will have more to come of this later on. 

Town hall properties included an extra door possibly being installed in the Legion buidling. 

The treasurer’s report was approved.
