Becker police last Friday morning captured a young felon, charged him with several crimes, and jailed him in Sherburne County.

 

Charged was Preston Oz-Storm Henry, 20, Minneapolis.

 

At 4:20 a.m., the police made contact with a suspicious person outside a business in the 13900 block of 1st Street SE. During the course of the investigation, officers determined Henry had been operating an ATV under the influence of alcohol. 

 

The ATV Henry was operating was found to contain an uncased firearm, which he was unlawfully possessing as a felon.

 

The firearm and ATV were found to have been stolen out of rural Sherburne County.

 

Henry was arrested and transported to the county jail, with pending charges: Under 21 drinking and driving, felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of stolen property. Authorities may add more charges.

 

Becker officers were assisted by the county sheriff’s office.
