The Minnesota Department of Transportation invites Sherburne County area residents, businesses and the traveling public to provide input on a road safety audit for Hwy.169.
The audit covers Hwy. 169 from the Co. Rd. 33 Interchange in Elk River to the Co. Rd. 29 Interchange in Princeton. A road safety audit looks at various data, including crash history, traffic flow and existing conditions. The audit aims to identify traffic safety issues and propose strategies to improve the roadway.
MnDOT is seeking public input on this safety audit from Feb. 3 to March 7. Public feedback helps the audit team to identify potential safety improvements. Visit the MnDOT Let’s Talk Transportation Highway 169 audit web page to learn more and to leave comments on an online map. (https://talk.dot.state.mn.us/us-169-road-safety-audit-in-sherburne-county).
MnDOT encourages participation by all. If one needs an ASL, a foreign language interpreter, or other reasonable accommodation, or need documents in an alternative format (such as braille or large print), please email your request to Janet Miller at ADArequest.dot@state.mn.us or call 651-366-4720.
