Clearwater’s Tri-County Alliance Church (TCA) and Monticello’s Change of Heart Church once again teamed up to share the true meaning of Christmas with their annual Drive-Up Live Nativity last Sunday.
The event brings the nativity to life for attendees, this year featuring Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus, along with angels and shepherds. Adding to the atmosphere, sheep and a llama were housed in the stable with the holy family.
Attendants directed guests to park their vehicles facing the wooden stable at the edge of TCA’s parking lot. Attendees then had the choice of remaining in their cars and tuning in to the event on their radios or gathering outside to watch.
The evening began with Julie Bodem performing a trumpet solo of O Little Town of Bethlehem; a chorus of angels then lent their voices to lead the audience in singing O, Come All Ye Faithful.
Pastor David Hibbison of Change of Heart Church took attendees on the Nativity journey through Bible passage readings, and TCA Pastor Dave Fogal gave a special Christmas message.
The event concluded with the audience singing O Holy Night before departing with the real meaning of the season.
TCA’s Live Nativity was recorded for those unable to join in person. To view, visit their Facebook page at facebook.com/TCAchurchMN.
