Library Patrons Make Handcrafted Signs

Last week, the Great River Regional Library (GRRL) branches of Big Lake and Becker hosted a fun, mobile sign shop. The craft wagon, provided by Ready Go Art, included all the necessary tools for D.I.Y. enthusiasts to create their own cottage-inspired carved wooden signs, as well as experienced staff members to help them through the process.

Peter and Monica of Ready Go Art said they have been creating signs all around the state for the last seven years. They are based out of the Twin Cities, and said that they have toured several GRRL locations this summer.

GRRL offers many activities and events for kids, teens, and parents. For a full list of events, visit GRiver.org/events.
