Flocking season is here! Pink Flamingos have been found roosting on lawns throughout the area and no one knows where they may land next. As well as being seen in Clearwater, Clear Lake, South Haven and Annandale, the flocks have traveled as far as Maple Lake and St. Cloud.

 

The flocking is sponsored by Rejoice Lutheran Church youth to raise funds for programming and future mission trips. Advisor Kris Maehren came across the idea a while ago and thought it would be a fun way to raise money.

 

Four flocks of 12 flamingos each are currently traveling the area. People can donate to flock-a-friend or purchase anti-flock insurance so their lawn isn’t targeted.
