BLUE HEAVEN’S UNBREAKABLE HEART. Madelyn Cartwright recently competed for Best Junior Handler at the 2022 National Shetland Sheepdog AKC dog show in St. Louis, Missouri. Madelyn and Kismet train at Canine Cabin (Clear Lake) under local breeder/trainers Rachel Lucas (owner of Canine Cabin) and professional handler Sara Peterson, who both mentor area youth interested in showing dogs at a high level, as well as hosting Sherburne County 4-H Dog Project Club with training nights for obedience, rally, agility, and showmanship to get ready for the County level dog show in July.
