Homecoming Week Jam Packed With Fun Activities!

Becker’s Homecoming is next week!

School pride is always the emphasis leading up to Friday night’s football game. Students are being asked to  participate in the dress up days, activities, and to attend as many events as they can throughout Homecoming week.  

Starting Monday, the week will feature  dress up days. Activities will occur during lunches and after school throughout the week.  Students are being reminded during dress-up days to come dressed in school-appropriate attire.  

Monday, Sept. 23 is Pajama Day. Students are urged to come to school dressed lazily, or in your favorite “Footie Jammies”.

Tuesday, the dress-up day is called, “Tacky Tuesday”.  This is a day to mix and match all of ones favorite patterns at the same time and have fun. During advisory period, voting will take place online for Homecoming King and Queen.

Wednesday’s dress-up day is “Groutfit (all grey outfit) vs Denim on Denim (all denim outfit).” 

Thursday’s dress-up theme is “Throwback Thursday.  Students are asked to come to school dressed in a different decade or throwback time of what they wore when they were little.  Homecoming coronation will be Thursday afternoon in the PAC at 2:15 p.m. This is the day students will learn who the 2019 Homecoming Royalty will be.

Friday is “School Spirit Day!” Students are prompted to appear at school showing off their best Bulldog pride!  After school, the annual Powder Puff game between the juniors and the seniors will take place on Eppard Field. At 7 p.m., the varsity football team will host Delano, followed by the Homecoming dance starting at 8 p.m. in the high school commons. 

The student council appreciates everyone’s participation in Homecoming and are looking forward to an exciting week celebrating the student body and the Becker Bulldogs.
