While restrictions due to the COVID pandemic are preventing many libraries from having “in-person” Holiday sales this year, the Becker library is excited to announce that they are still hosting a Holiday Book Sale at the Becker Public Library now thru Dec. 23.
Even though the Becker Community Center is closed, the Becker Public Library is open for business as usual.
Becker’s library has curated a great selection of adult and children’s books, CDs, movies, and puzzles that are for sale at the entrance of the library. (Hardcover books are $1, paperbacks 50¢, CDs and movies $1, and puzzles $1) The library even has “book bundles” - several books by the same author or of a similar theme - packaged together for just $5!
Books make great Christmas gifts, and all proceeds from the sale go directly to Friends of the Becker Public Library.
The money garnered is used to fund programming and purchase supplies at the library, so they can continue to serve the Becker Community. So when doing one’s Christmas shopping this year, skip the crowds and consider checking out the Friends of the Becker Library Holiday Sale.
Find something for yourself and a loved one and help out your local library...it’s like giving a gift twice!
The Holiday Sale is running now thru December 23. Cash sales only.
