GRFCU breaks ground in Big Lake

The groundbreaking for the Great River Federal Credit Union (GRFCU) took place Thurs. Oct. 29. The credit union will be located off of Hwy. 10 and Co. Rd. 43 in Big Lake, across from the Casey’s General Store.

According to Brant Hicks, CEO, Sherburne County residents are already using the credit union’s services, although this will be their first location in the county.

“It is exciting to bring our first Sherburne County location to Big Lake,” he said. “We have a large population of membership that will be able to benefit from this expansion.”

Chief retail officer, Shelly Janorshcke-Nagel, stated, “I see our move to Big Lake as an incredible opportunity to better serve our members in the Sherburne County area. Not only does this move provide additional access to the branch services it also provides Sherburne county residents access to a credit union that has made it its mission to ‘Build lifelong relationships by providing valuable financial services that members recommend, benefits the community and employees are proud of.’”
