Glencoe Woman Arrested After High Speed Chase

A Glencoe woman was arrested last Saturday in Becker after she crashed her vehicle at the Shell Gas Station following a high-speed chase along Hwy. 10.

Jenna Kathryn Paige, 30, was taken into custody  at around 2:08 p.m. Saturday after a Becker police officer received a driving complaint of a vehicle headed towards the city from Co. Rd. 11 and Hwy. 10.

The officer encountered the vehicle near Hwy. 10 and Co. Rd. 137, observing the vehicle traveling in speeds exceeding 110 MPH. The police officer attempted to stop the vehicle as it sped through the Rolling Ridge intersection and in an attempt to evade the police, Paige turned onto Co. Rd. 23 (Sherburne Ave.) and lost control of her vehicle. 

The gold-colored sedan Paige was driving slammed into a gas pump, causing significant damage to the vehicle and the pump.

In addition, Paige struck another vehicle as she tried to make the turn on Co. Rd. 23, causing minor damage.

No injuries were involved.

Paige was arrested at the scene and transported to Sherburne County Jail pending charges which may include: fleeing police in a motor vehicle, DUI test refusal, reckless driving, speeding, fleeing scene of an accident.

The BPD was assisted at the scene by Sherburne Co. Sheriff’s Dept. as well as the MN State Patrol and the Becker Fire Dept.

Operations at the Shell Gas Station were down for a couple hours prior to resuming operations later that day.
