Friends Of Sherburne History Center To Host Plant Sale

The Friends of the Sherburne History Center will host their first annual plant sale for the benefit of the SHC Sat., May 30 between 10 a.m. and noon.  This will be an opportunity to find those “last-minute” annuals needed to finish out garden plantings this year, according to SHC Exec. Director Mike Brubaker.

Judy Wilts from Bob and Judy’s Farm Market will also be on hand to help with advice on planting and maintaining the new plants.

Area gardeners who would wish to separate out any plants from their gardens, they are welcome to donate them to the plant sale, Brubaker said, noting that the group will “be happy to pick up any plants donated to this special event.”

The Friends of the Sherburne History Center is a new group of volunteer supporters at SHC.  They work to develop programs and fundraising events for the benefit of the museum.
