A Foley teen was killed Friday evening as a result of a two vehicle crash in Sherburne County.  Jade Posterick, 16, was travelling west on Co. Rd. 62 at the intersection of County Road 20 in Palmer Township at about 6:30 p.m. Posterick’s passenger vehicle collided with a flatbed pickup truck towing a 5th wheel trailer driven by Nathan Bauerly, 35, of Sauk Rapids which had been travelling north on Co. Rd. 20.

 

Posterick was deceased at the scene while her two juvenile female passengers were transported by ambulance to St. Cloud Hospital. Bauerly was airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown.

 

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
