Everyone is encouraged to come out and be part of the excitement Sunday, April 2 by attending the first ever Explore Clearwater/Clear Lake Business Expo from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Clearwater American Legion. While there, try out the Legion’s popular omelet breakfast being served from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
The new event was organized by Clear Valley Business Connections (CVBC) to promote shopping local and give the surrounding community the opportunity to meet and get to know local business owners and everything they have to offer.
The expo will feature raffles and prizes, and businesses will be promoting themselves as well as any positions they may be hiring for. A representative from CVBC will also be in attendance for anyone with questions on the organization.
Fifteen area businesses are currently signed up to showcase their companies and answer questions on what they have to offer residents.
CVBC began in 1987 and includes businesses from the cities of Clearwater and Clear Lake, and Clearwater, Clear Lake and Lynden townships. The mission of the organization is to promote area businesses and provide an environment for them to communicate and network.
