One person was sent to the hospital after a crash near Big Lake Nov. 15.

The Minnesota State Patrol says at around 8:10 p.m. a 2016 Ford F150 pickup driven by 76-year-old Victoria Renee Hammer of Starbuck was going east on Hwy. 10 when she collided with a 2021 Jeep Compass driven by 51-year-old Michael Stromberg of Big Lake at Eagle Lake Road, who was going west.

Stromberg was taken to the Monticello Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Hammer was not hurt in the crash.

Both drivers were wearing seatbelts and alcohol and/or drugs was not evident at the scene.

The State Patrol was assisted by Big Lake PD, Sherburne County Sheriffs, Big Lake Fire and CentraCare Ambulance.
