Enjoy and observe nature through the sport of birding at one of three Junior Adventure sessions at the Stearns History Museum in August.
The program for children, ages 7-13, will take them on a journey through Heritage Park to search for birds, looking for movement and color and listening for different bird calls and sounds. After the hike, the kids will return to the Museum to make bird feeders to take home.
The sessions run from 10 a.m. to noon on August 20, 21, or 22. Each day will be similar, so choose one of the three days.
Cost is $10 and includes the materials for the bird feeders. Payment is due the day of the event.
Contact the Museum at 320-253-8424 to register or for more information. Space is limited to 15 junior adventurers each day.
