Eagles Fall To Legacy Christian

The Becker-Big Lake hockey team lost to Legacy Christian Thurs. with a score of 4-2. 
 
Teams were scoreless in the first. In the second, Legacy Christian got the advantage but scoring 2 goals, the Eagles scoring 1. In the third. The Eagles came back to tie the game, but two more goals by Legacy Christian ended the game for the Eagles.
 
Eagles goaltender Justin Morrow stopped 44 of 48 attempted shots form Legacy Christian. The Eagles weren't able to make 30 shot attempts against Legacy Christian.
 
Justin Morrow commented on the aggressive game, "there were no penalties being called in the last few minutes in the third," he said, "it was almost like a blood bath with everyone hitting each other."
 
The Eagles have yet to win this season. The team lost the season opener Nov. 17 to Sauk Rapids Rice 2-1. A week later the team was defeated by Princeton, 11-0.
 
The team's next game is at Highland Park Dec. 8. The Eagles first home match-up of the season comes Dec. 15 when they host Little Falls at 7:15pm.
