OAA Update
Language was prepared by Township Attorney Mike Couri to change some language in the Ordererly Annexation Agreement as requested by Wright County. The board voted to change the language.
Shouldering Machine
The board approved the purchase of a Towmaster shouldering machine at the cost of $8,724.00, plus installation.
Maintenance Supervisor Ludenia said when they were shouldering some township roads, they had to use the sander on the truck. With the addition of hard surfaces on township roads, Ludenia felt it would be better to invest in a shouldering attachment.
Two quotes were received: Towmaster at $8,724.00 and Crystell at $10,162.07.
After a discussion about how often it would be used, Langenbacher felt the township should buy one since it was not a piece of equipment that could easily be rented to fit the township’s truck. A motion by Supervisor Rose Thelen to purchase from Towmaster carried unanimously.
