Once again this year, the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will be making stops in Wright County.
The 1,000-foot train with hundreds of thousands of LED lights has become a holiday tradition through much of the central and northern United States and Canada.
The mission of the holiday train is to raise money, collect food and bring awareness to the importance of food banks to local communities. This is the 25th anniversary of the holiday train.
The train will be making four stops in and around Wright County on Wednesday, Dec. 13, including Buffalo and Annandale. Depending on the schedule for your family, here is the schedule of the train stops and live performances from Dallas Smith and MacKenzie Porter:
Loretto: Arrival at Hennepin County Road 19 crossing at 4:15 p.m. with performance from 4:30-5 p.m.; Buffalo: Arrival at 5th Street NE railway crossing at 5:45 p.m. with performance from 6-6:30 p.m.; Annandale: Arrival at the west side of Downtown Park over the Harris Street West railway crossing at 7:15 p.m. with performance from 7:30-8 p.m.; Maple Lake: No stop, but it will roll through town between 6:40 and 7 p.m.; Eden Valley: Arrival at State Street (Hwy. 22) railway crossing at 8:55 p.m. with performance from 9-9:30 p.m.
