Food and beverages at the Celebration of Freedom barbeque at the Becker Community Center this Friday evening will be available for purchase, not provided free of charge as stated in the Freedom Days round-up article in last week’s edition of “The Citizen.”  The event will take place on the lawn behind the BCC building from 4-8 p.m., and is being sponsored by the Becker Lion’s Club, Becker American Legion, the Becker Sons of the American Legion, the American Legion Auxiliary and the Becker Beyond the Yellow Ribbon organization.  I regret any confusion my unforced error may have caused in this matter.
