Coborn’s in Clearwater is preparing for their new addition of a Caribou Coffee shop and drive-through. Inside the store, the dollar section (formerly the video rental section) has been removed in preparation for the shop and the new fireplace has been framed out. 

Outside, fences have been put in place in preparation for the installation of the drive-through. Caribou’s drive-through will be located where the pharmacy is currently. The pharmacy’s drive-through is being moved further down.

“Our new guest services area is scheduled to be finished by Oct. 21,” said Coborn’s Store Director Kristine Holthusen. “Construction is expected to be completed by early December, with Caribou Coffee opening at that time.”

Next spring plans are in the works for an outside seating area to be built.
