Clearview’s Kindergarteners Celebrate Family Fun Pumpkin Day

Clearview Elementary’s kindergarten rooms were buzzing with excitement last Friday afternoon, as students welcomed their parents and other adult family members into their classrooms to celebrate the annual kindergarten Fall Family Fun Pumpkin Day.

Kindergarten teachers Mrs. Krebs, Professora Marita, Professora Valerie and Professora Krista had prepared numerous themed learning stations in their classrooms for the students and their guests to choose from that reinforced pattern, math and letter skills and encouraged creativity.

Game stations included options like Halloween tic tac toe, monster tooth games, pumpkin bingo, spider pickup, and pumpkin themed worksheets.

Activities such as bead bracelets, pumpkin hats, fall sticker patterns, pumpkin decorations and coloring pages filled the craft stations and kept students busy.

Out in the hallway, the kindergarteners had fun trying their hand at pumpkin bowling, bean bag toss and pumpkin ring toss.

As always, decorating their own pumpkin was a favorite among the students, with the kindergarteners using stickers, yarn and pipe cleaners to create their masterpieces.
