Kindergarteners through third grade Clearview Elementary students who participated in the PAK-RAT (Parents and Kids Reading a lot Together) program were honored in a special parade last Thursday afternoon.
To go along with “Read Across America” day and Dr. Seuss’s birthday, the parade wound through the halls of the school. Students who read 30 books were bronze star winners, students reading 40 books were silver star winners, and students who read 50 or more books were gold star winners. All totaled, students read 6,844 books!
