St. Marcus Catholic Church in Clear Lake was filled with hungry members of the community last Friday, who arrived in droves for the Clear Lake Lions’ annual fish fry.

The line for fish was so long it snaked through the tables and all the way out to the church doorway for a great deal of the time. Along with conversations and laughter with friends and neighbors, attendees of all ages filled up on all-you-can-eat fish, side dishes and desserts. Many came back for seconds and even thirds.

For those who missed the event or are ready for more, a second fish fry will be held at St. Marcus on Friday, March 13 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.
