During their meeting Tuesday night, the Clear Lake Board discussed the next steps for the new town hall project.
Chairman Gary Gray informed the board he was working on construction management from the architect and was setting up a meeting for he and Engineer Terrance Vander Eyk to review it. After speaking with the Minnesota Association of Township’s attorney, he was was told they would need to put the project out for bid due to the cost.
A discussion was held on the silent bidding process and project items that could be specified, such as stating the town hall would require a particular type of furnace or its equivalent.
Gray stated the goal was to advertise the project and then get going in the next two to three months.
