Boo A Pa Looza Fun At Becker Library

Costumed cuties converged on the Becker Library Monday evening for a night of tricky games and tasty treats at the library’s first-ever Boo-a-pa-looza Halloween event.

The festival of fun attracted kitties, princesses, soldiers and more, all excited for the chance to play games, make crafts and most importantly, collect treats and prizes.

No tricks were required during the event, just a willingness to have fun. With cups of popcorn in hand, attendees took turns playing Pin the Spider on the Web, Halloween Bingo and the Monster Walk.

The kids also had the chance to make a cute witches broom craft to take home.

On hand to help with the fun, library staff and volunteers from Becker High School National Honor Society were also dressed in costumes.

Along with Boo-a-pa-looza, Becker Library’s young patrons had another chance at Halloween fun by participating in Charlie Brown’s Great Pumpkin Event. From Oct. 14 - 26, kids could help Charlie Brown search the library for the Great Pumpkin. All participants received a sticker, and their name was put into a drawing to win the grand prize or one of eight smaller prizes.

Boo-a-pa-looza was sponsored by the Friends of the Becker Library.
