Big Lake resident publishes book on abortion

Big Lake resident Jeff Hill has just released his fourth book, entitled “Justice.” The book is a page-turner featuring FBI agents hunting down a group of killers, but it takes a deep look into the topic of abortion.

Hill said that he wrote it as a form of protest literature. He noted he was inspired by the book “Uncle Tom’s Cabin” by Harriet Beecher Stowe. “Uncle Tom’s Cabin,” Hill said, was not a book written to change the mindsets of the slave owners of the south, but rather to change the minds of the ambivalent northerners.

Similarly, Hill wanted to reach readers who were neutral on the topic of abortion. He has noted the book has had a wide range of reactions so far, as he expected. It is a book designed to challenge readers to consider the big conversations in the book. Every reader will walk away from the book having deeply reflected on the topic, Hill promises.

Hill has written three other books, all different genres from this one. He has lived in Big Lake for 37 years, and originally came from Little Falls. His books can be found on Amazon, or at TryingToSee.org.
