Nearly 50 Becker High School choir students performed at Willmar High School on Wednesday, February 7th, as part of the MSHSL vocal solo and ensemble contest. These students prepared a solo, duet, or small ensemble piece over the last couple of months, and performed in front of an MSHSL judge. They were critiqued on five different musical components. Out of the 35 performances, 23 received a superior ratings, which is the highest performance rating, and 12 received an excellent rating. Emma Tweten also received the "Best in Site" award for her outstanding solo performance.
