The Becker Public Library is offering the following programs during the month of March:
Children aged three to six are invited to Preschool Storytime at the library Tues., March 3 and Tue., March 17 from 10:30-11:15 a.m. The program includes stories, songs and crafts to help build kindergarten readiness. Pre-registration is required.
Children aged three to twelve are invited to Make and Take Crafts with a spring theme at the library Sat., March 7 from 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Parents with babies or toddlers up to three years old are invited to a Baby/Toddler Time program at the library Tues., March 10 from 10:30-11:00 a.m. Participants will read stories and learn songs and “finger-plays” to use at home. Pre-registration is required.
Children aged five to twelve years are invited to “Read to Elsie” at the library Thurs., March 12 from 4-5 p.m. Elsie is a reading education assistance therapy dog.
Children will enjoy her companionship and her undivided attention as they read her a story. Pre-registration is required.
