A disturbance at a local business this week caused the Becker Police to show up, leading to an arrest of a man in possession of drugs and other paraphernalia.
Wednesday at approximately 8:49 p.m., Becker Police were dispatched to a ruckus occurring at a business along Bank Street. In questioning people at the scene, Becker Officers ultimately arrested Casey Monroe Bakken, 35, Minnetonka, for possession of numerous controlled substances to include methamphetamine, cocaine and heroin.
The police have not yet released information on the business referred to or other individuals involved.
The value of the drugs is estimated to be in excess of $24,000. Found along with the drugs was syringes, a smoke pipe, a spoon, several small scales, two hidden can safes, baggies and two tazers.
Bakken was arrested at the scene and transported to the Sherburne County Sheriff’s Dept. pending charges of first degree possession of a controlled substance, third degree DUI and obstruction of legal process.
The Becker Police Dept. was assisted by the Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office and the Minnesota State Patrol.
