On June 6, 2024, at approximately 9:40 p.m., Crow Wing County Deputies responded to the 26000 block of Linden Street in Garrison for a reported single ATV accident with injuries. 

Deputies arrived at the scene and learned that two individuals had been on an ATV when it left the roadway and overturned.

The driver of the ATV sustained minor injuries. Life-saving measures were attempted on the passenger, but the passenger was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the ATV was a 23-year-old female from Becker, MN (name not disclosed). The passenger/deceased individual was a 52-year-old male from Becker, MN (name not disclosed).

Other agencies that assisted at the scene were Garrison Fire and First Responders, Crosby Ambulance, and the Minnesota State Patrol.
