The Becker Farmers’ Market is open annually beginning the third Friday in May through the second Friday in October from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Becker Furniture World parking lot.
Visitors can expect to experience fresh flavors, homemade goods, enjoy community interaction and support all local vendors at the market.
The vendors for 2020 are:
• Dinah’s Home & Garden - May 29, June 12 & 26, July 10 & 24, August 7 & 21, September 4 & 18 and October 2.
Dinah’s Home & Garden specializes in unique homemade candles and canned goods. Also, rhubarb, strawberry & raspberry jams. Beautiful, delicious pepper jelly is irresistable and they also provide seasonal abundant produce, such as radishes, peas beans, Egyptian walking onions, raspberries, various other onions, and Jerusalem artichokes (sunchokes/earthapple).
• Forest Prairie Meat - All dates.
FPM has grass fed beef and pasture pork as well as good clean beef and pork. No hormones, antibiotic or GMO’s.
• Ellis Bakery - May 29, June 5 & 19, July 3, 17 & 28, September 11 & 25, and October 9.
Ellis Bakery features made-from-scratch items like grandma used to make. Choose from a variety of pies, cookies, bars, breads, pastries, cupcakes and those famous caramel rolls unlike anything you have had before.
• Popcorn Patty - All dates.
Patty makes fresh and delicious caramel popcorn and caramel puffed corn and the mix. People love it. She’s been making it for 20 years!
• Brush Creek Llamas - All dates.
BCL has bags of llama compost beans. Put them in nylons or any sort of screen and use a five gallon pail to make one’s own liquid compost manure.
• Norm’s Farm Market - All dates.
Norm’s Farm Market has been growing and selling vegetables for over 50 years. They grow and care for their crops using best management practices. Norm’s is a century farm and their employees are family members. They care about the products they grow and sell and are best known for Norm’s sweetcorn.
• The Hempturtles
Hempworx CBD products are made with certified organic hemp grown in Kentucky and are 100% free of any synthetic or artificial ingredients. They have a very potent and high purity level in their products. Everything is tested at an FDA approved facility and their products contain zero THC.
• Lou Lou Crafts
Selling hand-made baby blankets, baby bibs, adult bibs, kitchen towels, bowl cozies, blankets, crinkle toy, casserole holders and aprons!
• Lazy Toad Farm
LTF sells high quality canned goods and unique items, including, perennials & annuals, maple syrup, pickles, beans, honey and other canned goods.
• A Little Bit of Heaven Farm
LBOHF currently has fresh rhubarb available, but will have a wide variety of garden veggies this summer. Josh’s famous savory salsa is also at their booth as wells as canned pickles and their hand-crafted items.
• Trudy Johnson
Trudy sells, plants, chives baked goods, elderberry syrup, vegetables, canned goods, rhubarb and maple syrup.
Past markets have included fresh produce and eggs, plants, homemade goods and crafts, wooden signs, wild rice, honey, cookies, bread, jams, jellies and salsa, dog treats, homemade lotions and personal care items and so much more!
