The Becker Area Chamber of Commerce held a coat drive this past Friday night at the football game against Monticello. Thirty-five coats were donated that evening. The Chamber will host another coat drive Tues., Nov. 2 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Chamber office parking lot (12390 Sherburne Ave). Besides new or gently used coats they are also accepting hats, gloves, mittens, and scarves. There are also donation boxes at the Becker Community Center and Patriot office. All items are donated to Compassion Connection and the Food Shelf in Becker.
