Next Tuesday, August 10, 12:30 p.m., the Becker Area Senior Center (BASC) is excited to invite the community to attend its ribbon cutting ceremony for its new location at the Becker Community Center (BCC).
The event is sponsored by the Becker Chamber of Commerce.
BASC members are happy to show off the newly remodled area the senior center will now call home. Those visiting the ribbon cutting ceremony will have the opportunity to enjoy a cool, refreshing root beer float, or other beverage, and explore the attractive, comfortable area the senior center has for all individuals aged 55+. Door prizes will be available for visitors between 12:30 and 1 p.m. The BASC will also be accepting suggestions from members and prospective members.
“You may be surprised at how many activities are available for all,” said Carol Brunn, event organizer and BASC member.
