The body of an Albany man was recovered from a Sherburne County lake Saturday evening. Joshua Roepke, 23, had been swimming and boating with friends on Lake Freemont in the city of Zimmerman.
Friends of Roepke called shortly after 6 p.m. after losing sight of him during a swim. Sheriff’s divers recovered him shortly after 8 p.m. in about 7 feet of water. The suspected drowning remains under investigation.
