The annual Clearwater and Lynden Township cleanup day Saturday was a success, with trucks and trailers lined up down Co Rd 75 before the event even started at 7 a.m., and continuing to arrive throughout the morning.
Forty-two Clearwater households dropped off 24 appliances, 76 tires and 1,264 lbs. of e-waste (electronic waste). twenty three Lynden Township households brought in 15 appliances, 50 tires and 749 lbs. of e-waste.
The event used four garbage trucks for refuse and three roll off bins for the appliances, tires and e-waste.
