Call to Order

The Sherburne County Board of Commissioners convened in special session on June 15, 2021, at the Sherburne County Government Center in the City of Elk River, MN. Call to order by the Chair was at 8:00am.

Schmiesing/Fobbe unanimous to approve agenda as presented.

Special Workshop Meeting Agenda

Board Discussion on ARPA Priorities. Administration

Dan Weber, Assistant County Administrator, Bruce Messelt, County Administrator

• Considered and prioritized ARPA-funded programs and initiatives. Dan Weber presented on ARPA and went over the Preliminary Utilization Plan, External Programs, Internal Requests and Revenue Recovery. Public Works Director Andrew Witter displayed possible conduit installation spots on a county map and a discussion on broadband was had. HHS Director Amanda Larson presented HHS’s ARPA Roadmap and explained the breakdown of their requests. Sheriff Joel Brott presented on the request for a Mental Health Unit for the County Jail.
