TITLE AND SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE 2020-02

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE, PART 1 CHAPTER 10 - ANIMALS

The City Council of the City of Clearwater, Minnesota, Counties of Wright and Stearns, doeshereby amend the City Code.

City Code Chapter 10 – Animalsis hereby amended with the following changes:

The general definition of prohibitedpoultryhas been amended to exclude chickens.

Article III - Chickenshas been added, which outlines new regulations governing the keeping of chickens in city limits.  It also outlines the permit requirements for the keeping of chickens.
