NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council (the "Council") of the City of Clearwater, Counties of Wright and Stearns, Minnesota, will hold a public hearing on Thursday, May 28, 2020, at 7:00 p.m., at the Clearwater City Hall, in the City of Clearwater, Minnesota, relating to the proposed establishment of Municipal Development District No. 1, the proposed establishment of Tax Increment Financing District No. 1-1 within the Development District, the proposed adoption of the Development Plan relating to Municipal Development District No. 1, and the proposed adoption of a Tax Increment Financing Plan for Tax Increment Financing District No. 1-1, all pursuant to and in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.124 through 469.133, as amended, and Sections 469.174 through 469.1794, as amended, all inclusive, as amended.  A copy of the proposed Tax Increment Financing Plan is on file and available for public inspection at the office of the City Administrator at City Hall.

PLEASE NOTE, due to COVID-19, if the Governor of the State of Minnesota extends or rescinds and replaces Emergency Executive Order 20-23 (the “Order”), and thereby causing the stay-at-home order to be in effect as of the date of the public hearing, the public hearing will be conducted via telephone or other electronic means as allowed under Minnesota Statutes, Section 13D.021.  Please refer to the City of Clearwater’s website at https://www.clearwatercity.com/or call City Hall at 320-558-2428 to learn how to attend the public hearing via telephone or electronically.

The property included in Municipal Development District No. 1 is described in the Development Program on file in the office of the City Administrator.  The property proposed to be included in Tax Increment Financing District No. 1-1 is described in the Tax Increment Financing Plan on file in the office of the City Administrator.
